procedure of Shahi Chicken🍲
- You need 2 of onions chopped.
- Prepare 2-3 of green chilli.
- It's 1/3 cup of cashewnuts.
- Prepare 2 of tomato.
- It's 2 tbsp of dahi.
- It's to taste of Salt.
- You need Pinch of Turmeric.
- You need 1 tbsp of cumin powder.
- You need 1 tsp of black pepper powder.
- You need 2 tbsp of Oil.
- You need 1 tbsp of ghee/butter.
- It's leaves of Chopped coriander.
- You need 1/4 tsp of lemon juice.
- It's 1/3 cup of Milk.
- You need 1/4 cup of malai.
- You need of Some charcoal.
Shahi Chicken🍲 method
- Heat some oil put chopped onions and saute till transculent add green chilli n cashews and 1/3 cup of water and cook untill water dries.grind it to make a paste.keep aside..
- Marinate chicken with dahi+cumin powder(1 tsp)+lemon juice and keep aside..
- Now grind to make properly and make a paste keep it aside.heat 1 tbsp oil and place some marinated chicken pieces.donot add all the pieces together fry in batches and remove in a bowl.And give charcoal smoke..
- In that same kadhai add 1 tbsp more oil when oil is hot put grinded tomato paste and saute 2 to 3mins when oil is separated add Turmeric+salt +cumin powder(1 tbsp) saute for some time now add grinded onion cashew paste and mix it well.saute for 5 to 6 mins.add ghee/butter..
- Then add 1/4 cup of water and saute for 5 mins add 1/4 cup water and saute 5 mins again add 1/4 cup of water and saute 5mins.Now add chicken pieces and milk(1/3 cup)+ water(1/4 cup) and mix it.cover and cook on a low to medium flame for 10 to 12 mins..
- After that put malai + chopped coriander leaves and cook 2mins..
- Garnish with some corinder leaves n malai.Serve with naan/Roti/paratha/tandoori roti..
